What are your core tasks?
- New design of measurement and inspection systems and development of new measurement methods and algorithms
- Conception of customer systems with the associated development services for software and hardware
- Introduction of new developments into production
What is part of the team's typical working day?
- Coordination with customers, suppliers and employees in meetings in the meeting room or remotely via MS Teams
- Realisation of requirements in the software, electronics, CAD and application departments
- Building up test-assemblies and verify the function of the assemblies against the specification
- Documentation of developments in the PDM (Product Data Management) system
What hard skills do you need in the team?
- Developers, group leaders, department heads
- Software development: image processing, algorithms, GUI, hardware-related control, system architect
- Electrical engineering: Project planning and documentation of electrical and electronic circuits as well as complete electrical systems, development and drawing of circuit diagrams, testing and commissioning of components, support in the construction and commissioning of customized systems
- CAD: design of mechanical assemblies, continuous improvement of existing products, participation in solving technical problems, assessment of the design with regard to function, feasibility, stability and costs
